After a brief uptick during the week, hospitalizations related to COVID-19 have started to fall again in the last hours.
According to the report published on Friday, 24 fewer people ended up in hospital with the disease, for a total of 1,311. Among them, 477 are being treated specifically for COVID-19.
Significant decrease also in intensive care, where there was a decrease of eight patients. In all, 28 patients were treated in this type of unit, 18 of them due to illness.
Health authorities also reported six new deaths, two of which occurred in the past 24 hours. The other four deaths date from more than seven days ago.
On the case side, 484 new infections have been recorded, to which must be added at least 29 cases detected by rapid and self-reported tests. Note that the cases are probably underestimated since the screening centers are reserved for priority groups.
Finally, 1742 doses of vaccine against COVID-19 were administered on Thursday.
