A delivery man almost like the others. Pierre Sevestre stopped transporting food more than a year ago. In his bag today, there are medicines: “There is a really human aspect. I feel like I’m doing a lot more service”. The app is called Livemed’s. It allows you to place orders in pharmacies. Anatole is teleworking today, he is ready to pay a little more for his medication: “Each time I never look at the delivery too much but it’s ok, it’s never more than 5 euros”.

“A plus” for some people

In a Bordeaux pharmacy, deliveries are sealed in opaque bags, medical secrecy requires. But pharmacist is also advice and that, an application cannot do it. “I think these platforms are a plus for people who cannot move around. Afterwards, people will always need advice in pharmacies”, explains Nina Payet, pharmacy assistant. The application currently works with sixteen pharmacies in the Bordeaux area and hopes to extend its activity to the entire Aquitaine region.
