The magic of Disney is back in Montreal and Quebec. During spring break, a show different from disney on ice is presented in each of the two cities. At the Bell Centre, families have an appointment with Elsa, Anna and Olaf as well as with Mirabel and the fantastic Madrigal family, who will perform feats on skates to the rhythm of songs by Snow Queen and D’Encanto. At the Videotron Center, Mickey and Minnie will be surrounded by many characters from Disney films, including Moana and Rapunzel.
From March 2 to 5 in Montreal and from March 3 to 6 in Quebec City

Strange plants at the Montreal Botanical Garden
For the second year, the Botanical Garden is presenting some 200 different plant species on the occasion of the strange garden. Workshops inspired by carnivorous plants await children. The greenhouse-laboratory welcomes visitors until April 30.
Foray into the world of science
Are your offspring curious? The Montreal Science Center offers four permanent exhibitions (Explore – Big science, Human, Mini mondo And Fabric – Creative challenges) as well as two temporary exhibitions, namely Dinosaurs around the world (until March 12) And Our climate quest: small steps towards big change (until April 9).
Honoring traditions at Pointe-à-Callière
During spring break, Pointe-à-Callière invites young and old to discover the cultural traditions of Africa, Asia and Latin America thanks to some twenty Montreal artists from diverse backgrounds. Music, dance, storytelling and participatory workshops will be presented free of charge outside, in front of the museum and on the Place Royale. Within the walls of Pointe-à-Callière, visitors will be able to admire the some 300 headgear featured in the exhibition The world in mind, the Antoine de Galbert collectionwhich ends March 12.
The special spring break activities will be held from Saturday February 25 to Saturday March 4.

Activities for all tastes at TOHU
Loan of cross-country skis, sleds and kites, guided tours of Parc Frédéric-Back on snowshoes, circus workshops, snow sculptures, circus performances, shows. For spring break, TOHU has suggestions for all tastes. Even the wallets find their account there since the majority of the activities are free. FIFEM in hybrid mode
The Montreal International Children’s Film Festival (FIFEM) offers programming both online and in theaters, primarily at Cinéma Beaubien. One hundred films from fifteen countries will be presented as part of the 26e edition, which runs from February 25 to March 5. “I think what’s also cool is the possibility of going to see cinema that comes from elsewhere completely, underlined the spokesperson for the event, Valérie Roberts, in an interview with The Press. At the movie theater : Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania And Asterix and Obelix: The Middle Kingdom
The adventures of Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) continue in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumaniastill with Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lily), Dr Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) and Janet Van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer). Joining the time-travelling, universe-traveling Kang the Conqueror (Jonathan Majors) cast. The whole family finds themselves in the quantum universe where they do not intend to laugh… “Despite its few faults, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania remains good entertainment and cleverly kicks off Phase 5 of the MCU. We recognize that Marvel Studios often uses the same recipe, and it is perhaps even more evident in this film. But, what do you want, we like it, this recipe,” says our critic Pascal LeBlanc.
The characters created by René Goscinny and Albert Uderzo go on an adventure, this time to save the Empress of China. Asterix (Guillaume Canet, who also directs) and Obélix (Gilles Lellouche) will encounter Romans and pirates on their way. An original story created from scratch for one of the most expensive productions in French cinema, by Toutatis! Vincent Cassel, Marion Cotillard and Zlatan Ibrahimovic are also part of the cast. “The story holds up quite the (silk) road and keeps us in a known universe, even if it’s a bit linear and obviously predictable. But which Asterix was not? writes our critic Silvia Galipeau.
