The Consumer Electronics Show (CES), held in Las Vegas in January, is a show dedicated to technological innovation in electronics. This is also an opportunity for many car manufacturers to show their know-how in this area.
Mathieu Roy was able to attend and talks about the unveilings that marked him.
One that caught his attention is the all-electric AFEELA concept — a vehicle designed by the union of Sony and Honda. “I found it interesting because it’s the perfect marriage between techno and the car: two gigantic companies in their respective fields,” says Mathieu.
Moreover, the AFEELA will be equipped with 45 sensors, located all around the car and inside for autonomous driving. The cabin will consist of several screens – allowing occupants to work or even have fun.
The production model will be sold in North America beginning in the spring of 2026. Reservations will begin around early 2025 and production will follow later this year at one of Honda’s freshly upgraded plants in Ohio.
Mathieu also gives his impressions about the Volkswagen ID.7 as well as the Ram 1500 REV. Watch the video capsule at the top of this article for more details.
