First of all, thank you for your overwhelming responses to our Misconduct topic regarding the finest logos in sport. But so many of you chose one in particular that … without further ado …
Chicago Blackhawks.
Here are some of your answers, including that of Pierre Beaulieu, who accuses us of missing the mark:
Anyone sleeping on chloroform? The Chicago Blackhawks, without a doubt.
Pierre Beaulieu
In my opinion, the most personable logo is the Chicago Blackhawks logo. Firstly, the logo of an original team will have it easy, so much the logos of the teams of the first expansion were out of tune with their lack of authenticity. Second, what team can claim to have an original owner who used their battalion’s name in WWII? Who can also be distinguished by the fact that it is the wife of this hero of the story who drew the first sketches that have remained practically unchanged since all this time? Is it a coincidence that no one has come to criticize this logo even during the recent questioning of the use of indigenous symbols in our everyday life? No, this logo is a symbol of aesthetics and classicism!

But right now, my favorite… is actually one of the most recent to emerge: the Trois-Rivières Lions. I did “Wow” when I saw it for the first time. And he’s still “Wow”! AWESOME !
Andrew Sandor
Modern logos are often garish or simply flawed, but the Trois-Rivières Lions logo is a success story. The fleur-de-lis, Laviolette’s goatee, the torch, metallic accents reminiscent of the region’s forges… all this in a simple and stylish set. Hat !

That of the Trois-Rivières Lions in the ECHL. Gorgeous.

Many also strongly supported Simon-Olivier Lorange’s choice of the Montreal Expos logo.
That of Expos is aesthetic and creative. It also marks the trend in graphic arts of the period in which it was designed.

Hello, Mr. Lorange. I do not dispute certain graphic and semantic qualities of the logo of the former Montreal baseball team. And a little original side slightly “flower power” representative of the time of the creation of the club. On the other hand, although I am a big fan of baseball, I confess that I have always deeply hated this absurd name. I wish the return of major baseball in Quebec, I do not believe that this horrible name will disappear for many reasons. Unfortunately, this will be missing a unique opportunity to unite beyond the last metro station.

Otherwise, a few of your answers in bulk:
My favorite is the Boston Bruins’ one: simple, timeless and effective. In addition, as a bonus, he reminds us of the best player of all time to have put on the Bruins jersey, with his B and his O: Bobby Orr …
Claude Laporte
Definitely not the prettiest, but for the sake of simplicity, I’ve always thought the original Vancouver Canucks logo is hard to beat. A hockey stick on an ice rink and absolutely nothing else. The best looking in the NHL is hands down the Red Wings, but the Blackhawks have the best looking uniform.
Donald St-Pierre
One of the Vancouver Canucks logos. Simple and natural.
Pierre Gagnon
Certainly not the new logo of the Impact, oops, of CF Montreal, which plays in a league where the sport is called soccer, in addition, fills with irony and incomprehension! A little wedge snowflake certainly won’t make me buy their sweater!
Charles Leduc
That of the Fort Wayne Spacemen in USPHL Premier USA.
Sylvain Robidoux
For me, that of the Red Wings is the most beautiful and representative.
France Brossard
The Rimouski Oceanic.
Line pineault
I like that of the Capitals in hockey with the Capitol hidden under the eagle.
Claude regnier
In my opinion, the Minnesota Wild logo is most appealing in its colors, style and nod to the star reminding us of the North Stars.
Daniel Desrochers
The Carleton University Ravens, in hockey. Simplicity, ingenuity, easy to understand and to draw.
Martin Gelinas
That of the Saints of New Orleans.
Alain Bergeron
Although I am a die-hard fan of the Blackhawks image, the black vest is a masterpiece, the most beautiful logo in all sports is the Las Vegas Raiders. A pirate with a football helmet is the perfect blend of simplicity, excitement and the promise of adventure. The team is moving, but the logo remains. In addition, do not black and silver marry?
