Elliot Maginot will be one of the artists of the musical Christmas, on December 16 at the Center St-Jax in Montreal

Organized by Audiogram and XP_MTL, this “Christmas music-not-necessarily-Christmas party” will certainly be the least traditional of the lot. On the menu, five artists or groups, each as cool as the next: Qualité Motel, Fanny Bloom, Elliot Maginot, Comment Debord and the very young and promising Marilyne Léonard. With in addition an exterior 5 to 7, followed by a Dj set led by the super group Choses Sauvages, the event promises to be long, and dancing, and joyful.

On December 16 at the Center St-Jax in Montreal, tickets on the lepointdevente website.

The Quebec Issime troupe will be back at Place des Arts this year, not with its classic show December, which is postponed to 2022, but with 12 voices, a piano, a spectacle perhaps more sober but no less generous. The 12 performers, accompanied by Pierre Doré at the piano, will therefore sing both popular songs and Christmas tunes, taken from their numerous shows, and will simultaneously celebrate the 25e anniversary of the troupe from Saguenay – Lac-Saint-Jean.
