With 100 days to go until it hits theaters across North America, a new trailer for the film The little Mermaid was unveiled on Wednesday, revealing several previously unseen elements of this live-action version of the Disney classic.
In particular, we see much better the city of Atlantica, in addition to seeing for the first time Prince Eric, interpreted by Jonah Hauer-King. As for Ariel, camped by Hailey Bailey, we see her having fun with jellyfish and a puffer fish, before seeing the sequence conclude with the evil laughter of Ursula – we see briefly and for the first time the eyes of the wicked witch played by Melissa McCarthy.
The little Mermaid will be in theaters on May 26.
