The call of the tour was felt for Louis Morissette. The 49-year-old producer, who performed on stage with Les Mecs Comiques and Les Morissette, announced this morning that he was going to start working on his first solo show this summer.
It is simply by a small publication on social networks, with the mention “Ben coudonc …” and an image “Louis Morissette (In running on stage)”, that the producer-comedian announced the news.
The run-in will begin on April 1, at the Salle du Moulinet in Terrebonne. Morissette will then play at Salle Fenplast in Longueuil and at La Petite Eglise in Saint-Eustache. In August, he will settle down for at least six evenings at the Théâtre du Marais in Val-Morin.
On Instagram, Louis Morissette announced the news by throwing a little tip to his wife, Véronique Cloutier. “If you don’t want to follow, I do it alone”.
We remember that in September 2021, the Morissette-Cloutier couple announced the complete cancellation of the show The Morissettes II, which was announced before the pandemic. The arrival of COVID-19, and the many closings and reopenings of venues, had gotten the better of the tour.
The couple’s first show, from 2014 to 2017, was a great success, being played more than 300 times, and in front of more than 250,000 spectators, across Quebec.
Previously, from 1996 to 2005, Louis Morissette was part of the trio Les Mecs Comiques, along with Jean-François Baril and Alex Perron. The group had given several shows and had also made a name for itself on the small screen.
