“If it hadn’t been for 5 minutes that we let him play more at home, who knows, he might have been in tragedy”, confided, not without emotion, Gabriel Laflamme in an interview. at TVA Nouvelles.

He was originally supposed to drop off his child at 8:30 a.m., but finally arrived just after the event, seeing the scene.

“It was straight up, ‘What’s going on? I went out, my wife was with us, I asked “Can we do something?”, but the situation was already in “safe” mode”, detailed the father of the family.

The first instinct of the father, like all families, was to take his child in his arms, he confessed.

Mr. Laflamme’s son has been in this daycare for almost 4 years. “It’s horrible. I don’t even have words to explain yesterday’s tragedy, it’s just awful,” he continued, tears in his eyes.
