Volodymyr Zelensky expected in Brussels for a European summit

On a European tour, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will take off with Emmanuel Macron from Villacoublay air base (Yvelines), on the morning of Thursday February 9, heading for Brussels (Belgium), where a European summit is being held. Journalist Jordan Klein, live from the air base, gives an update on the program for the day, and explains that the heads of state will first go to the European Council “where Charles Michel, President of the European Council, awaits them firmly”.

Ukraine asks for fighter jets

“Volodymyr Zelensky will take part in a European summit with the Twenty-Seven. The first opportunity for European leaders to recall their commitment to the Ukrainian forces”continues the journalist. “For Volodymyr Zelensky, this will also be an opportunity to reiterate his message since he wants the Europeans to send combat planes.
