The great lady of jazz Diana Krall and the legendary pianist Herbie Hancock will be in Montreal this summer as part of the International Jazz Festival.
Their names are added to those of about fifteen artists already announced who will perform indoors during the 43e edition of the event scheduled from June 29 to July 8, 2023.
For the Canadian singer and pianist, it is a return to the festival after almost 10 years of absence. She will take the stage at Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier on July 4. The day before, Herbie Hancock will be there in concert. In his career that spans more than 60 years, the jazzman has won 14 Grammy Awards and an Oscar. Tickets for both shows go on sale this Friday.
Melody Gardot, Rodrigo Y Gabriela and Buddy Guy are among the other artists who will take part in the Festival international de jazz de Montréal. The outdoor lineup has not yet been revealed.
