(Fort Lauderdale) The Washington Capitals have signed forward Dylan Strome to a five-year, $25 million contract extension.
The Capitals announced the news Friday during NHL All-Star Weekend in South Florida, where Strome was the third player selected in the 2015 draft.
Strome was likely to become a restricted free agent at the end of the season.
