“You are a very good singer, but of karaoke. I don’t know how to explain it, it’s a feeling, it’s not”. This is what Dove Attia told the very young Amel Bent, during her casting in Lille for the New starin 2004. This February 2, 2023, in an interview granted to the Parisianthe musical producer explained how he has since apologized to the singer who has become a must in France.
“I had to apologize flatly”
