The Alouettes agree with Chandler Worthy and Keshunn Abram

(Montreal) The Montreal Alouettes extended the stay of American punt returner Chandler Worthy by two seasons on Wednesday, in addition to adding American wide receiver Keshunn Abram to their roster.

Worthy, a 29-year-old player who measures five feet eight inches and weighs 177 pounds, played 15 games with the Alouettes last season.

In 47 punt returns, the former Troy University Trojans player amassed 547 yards, maintaining an excellent average of 11.6 yards per carry.

“I know Chandler well for having faced him several times and I can confirm that we have an electrifying player on our hands,” declared Alouettes head coach Jason Maas. In a single race, he can single-handedly change the outcome of a game. The opposing teams must be ready when he is on the field. As for Abram, a six-foot-two, 193-pound player, he spent time with the New York Jets organization in 2021.
