Madonna in Montreal | Tickets sell out in 1h15

It only took about an hour and 15 minutes for Madonna to sell almost all the tickets for her two concerts at the Bell Center, scheduled for August 19 and 20.


Ticket sales, announced for 10:00 a.m. this Friday, ended around 11:15 a.m. presale of the August 19 concert had started two days ago.

On the ticketing site Ticketmaster, prices for tickets available for Saturday’s concert ranged from $136 to $832 around 10:15 a.m. But around 10:35 a.m., they ranged from $320 to $1,342. All of the tickets available are then “resale tickets”.

Around 11:15 a.m., the few seats available for Saturday 19 retailed at nearly $1,500 a ticket. Essentially VIP packages and platinum tickets reserved for companies. For Sunday the 20th, there were only a few seats left on the floor (at $641 a ticket).

Madonna, 64, will begin her North American tour dubbed The Celebration Tour in Vancouver on July 15 before performing in several American cities. She will return to the country on August 13, in Toronto, before settling for two days in Montreal (August 19 and 20) and heading for New York (August 23 and 24).

The European tour of material girl will be launched in London on October 14 and end on October 1er December in Amsterdam. In total, we are talking about 24 North American cities and 11 European ones. The last visit of the Madonna to Montreal dates back to September 9, 2015, for the tour of her album Rebel Heart.
