(Edmonton) The Edmonton Oilers have removed forward Evander Kane from the long-term injured list for Tuesday night’s game against the Seattle Kraken.
Kane has been sidelined since suffering a wrist laceration Nov. 8 against the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Kane has scored five goals and eight assists in 14 games this season.
His return to play will provide a boost on offense as the Oilers try to secure a playoff berth.
Alberta’s offense has been on fire lately, outscoring the opposition 17-6 in goals scored over the past three games.
The Oilers also announced that forward Kailer Yamamoto and defenseman Ryan Murray have been added to the long-term injured list.
Yamamoto has been sidelined since last Wednesday with an undetermined injury, while Murray has been out with a back injury since Nov. 21.
