In this regard, Tite Frette, with its network of stores specializing in the sale of beers from Quebec microbreweries, ranks first in the Wow 2022 list (Quebec), a study conducted annually by Léger. The results of the survey on the various performance indicators in the retail trade are unveiled on Tuesday.

A total of 14 companies appear in the list, several of which are from Quebec: Tite Frette, Shop Santé (3^e rank), Claire France (5^e), Mondou (6^e), the SAQ (7^e), Pitou Minou & Companions (13^e) and Favorite Chocolates (14^e).

“Of all the retailers we measure, most of the time, those who end up with scores of 90% or more, these are shops where we have fun, where we want to go, analyzes the executive vice-president of Léger, Christian Bourque during an interview with The Press. According to him, this is also what allowed Tite Frette to take the lead in the list. “(The people behind Tite-Frette) are riding the wave of microbreweries a bit. We are talking about a warm welcome. The employees are as passionate about the products as the customers. »

The same principle also applies to Popeye’s Supplements (11^e rang), a retailer specializing in the sale of proteins and energy bars for athletes. “Employees are like customers who are like employees,” he says, adding that they share the same passion.

Moreover, in addition to the presence of several Quebec retailers in the list of best in-store experiences, Mr. Bourque notes that many of them are smaller companies compared to “giants”. “That hasn’t always been the case. There are a lot of new players, younger companies. »
