(Rochester) Linus Weissbach broke the deadlock midway through the third period on Wednesday as the Rochester Americans inflicted a 3-1 loss on the Laval Rocket.
Weissbach completed his 13e goal of the campaign at 9:41, making it 2-1.
Michael Mersch completed a brace into an empty net.
Lucas Condotta’s response came in the middle period.
His accomplices were Anthony Richard and Mitchell Stephens.
Richard will be part of the North Division squad at the AHL All-Star Game at Place Bell on February 6th.
The Rocket will be back in action Friday night at Syracuse.
