Barely fifteen years ago, several of us made a detour to our neighborhood video store to find the popular films of the moment. The appearance of distribution platforms has almost signed the death warrant for these businesses, but a few diehards survive in Quebec. Journalist Anne-Marie Provost recounts the evolution of this industry and immerses herself in the nostalgia of the video club by visiting one of the last branches still open in the province, in Saint-Lin-Laurentides.
