On reading the article “Neveurmagne! or the vast world of the Survenant”, published in the Homework of December 24, I was relieved to find that my understanding of this character created by Madame Germaine Guèvremont was fairly accurate. I am Chantal Labrosse, author of the novel (published in October 2021) Angelina. Yes, yes, this Angelina Desmarais. It was after watching this magnificent 2005 film that the idea turned into inspiration. I wanted them to come back, to build a future in their Chenal du Moine. Here ! I’m not a “newspaper reader”, but this article, so well written, hooked me immediately. Cheer ! And thank you for keeping alive this art which, even in the past, remains brilliant.
