They know each other well these two and for a long time! Since 2011, to be precise. A year after he won the victory of “Secret Story 4”, Benoît Dubois has indeed joined the team of “Mad Mag”, broadcast on NRJ12. At the time, the show was hosted by a certain… Matthieu Delormeau. Very quickly, the former hairdresser had conquered the viewers and also the presenter. And, little by little, he had managed to find a place for himself in the PAF. On the private side, and off cameras, Benoit and Matthieu have become very intimate. Not hesitating to go on vacation several times together… Enough to unleash rumors! Especially since at the time, both of them liked to cultivate a certain sense of discretion in their private lives… Which is really no longer the case today!
In the columns of our magazine “Public”, the addict to cosmetic surgery wishing to start a family thanks to a surrogate mother, returned to his initial meeting with the very sporty Matthieu: “I embodied everything he hated : the tall blond hysterical madwoman! But he became a friend, he advised me a lot,” he admits, still grateful.
“I’m marriage, children… very classic”
And, on the love side, was there an idyll between the two columnists? Benoit Dubois is keen to deny it clearly: “We still have a fifteen-year age difference between him and me, we don’t have the same expectations at all. Me it’s marriage, children… very classic. Not him at all! To put myself with him would be to make me suffer, because he cannot give me what I expect.”, he explained. While admitting to no longer being a heart to take because he met “a general practitioner, and this time, I feel it’s the right one (…) He flirted with me in a club, he told me that I was very handsome. He didn’t know me and that’s cool”.
An age-old rumor of a liaison that the two accomplices continue to deny while playing with… Already in 2016, Benoit Dubois had been forced, on the set of “NRJ 12”, to justify himself on the nature of his relationship with his audiovisual mentor : “Matthieu is a friend, I know his family very well. Regularly, he invites me to his parents and we have fun, that’s it.” But, never leaving his legendary sense of humor, he added: “This rumor is inappropriate. You should know that Matthieu Delormeau is a close friend and we went acorn picking in the forest.” Enough to maintain a not very… artistic vagueness!
