Quebec reports two additional deaths linked to COVID-19 on Monday, but none in the last 24 hours, and officially lists 849 new cases of COVID-19.
Data on hospitalizations are also no longer counted on weekends, due to a change in the methodology used by the Department of Health.
A total of 3,359 healthcare workers are absent for COVID-related reasons, such as preventive withdrawal or isolation. They were more than 4,000 as of Friday.
Since the start of the pandemic, 1,272,878 infections have been reported, and 17,542 of them have been fatal.
