At the start of 2022, Florent Pagny announced with sadness that he had lung cancer. Forced to cancel his concert tour, the 60-year-old singer has been undergoing chemotherapy for months and regularly updates his worried fans about his health.
“The protocol worked rather well since from the first two chemo-immunotherapies, my tumor, which was as big as a kiwi, turned into a nut, so right away we started heavy with radiotherapy and more intensive chemo” he declared last May before adding: “I was very well accompanied by my other half, my children. And then there was this phenomenon of synchronicity with these thousands of messages and testimonies of love, of support, good vibes… I think that too helped me get through this story that way.” It is true that the singer was able to count on the infallible support of his family, namely his wife Azucena, and their two children Inca and Aël.
