A cold but sunny Saturday awaits Quebecers

The start of the weekend promises to be sunny for most of the province, but with winter temperatures and wind chills that can reach -30 degrees Celsius in places.

Only the Îles-de-la-Madeleine will not benefit from a sunny Saturday since 2 cm of snow are expected during the day, accompanied by a freezing drizzle and temperatures around -4 degrees Celsius.
The east of the province will alternate between sun and clouds for the day on Saturday, with temperatures ranging between -7 and -10 degrees Celsius, and possibly reaching -17 degrees in places.

Western and central Quebec will experience a sunny day with temperatures between -7 and -15 degrees for Estrie, Mauricie, Beauce and Drummondville. The mercury will drop to -20 in the Montreal and Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean regions. La Tuque could even see its mercury reach -26 degrees Celsius at the coldest of the day.
Northern and extreme northern Quebec will also be sunny on Saturday, with temperatures reaching -19 and -14 degrees respectively. Wind chills may reach -32 degrees Celsius.
