Google unveiled on Wednesday the list of subjects having been the subject of the greatest number of searches during the year 2022. In Quebec, the singer Karim Ouellet occupies the 4e rank.
The artist found dead in his Quebec City apartment in January was the focus of many Google searches. Another Quebec personality who died at the end of last year, the filmmaker Jean-Marc Vallée, appears at the 10e position of the most common searches in the province. OD Martinique for its part rose to 5e rank.
In Canada, Queen Elizabeth, Betty White, Bob Saget, Anne Heche, Johnny Depp and Will Smith appear in the top 10 most popular searches. Ex-CTV presenter Lisa LaFlamme is on 5e ranking of Canadian current affairs topics that have been the subject of the most searches on Google.
