For you Flora continues to enjoy international success. After winning a prize at MIPCOM in Cannes in October, the series written and directed by Sonia Bonspille Boileau was rewarded in London.
The show, which follows the quest of two Anishinaabe who try to make peace with their painful past in residential schools, won an award at the C21 International Drama Awards, in the category “Best Miniseries”.
“We are so honored by this award, especially coming from a jury of the world’s top content decision makers. We did not expect it at all! We hope this recognition will open the door to other markets for this important story to be known to all,” said Sonia Bonspille Boileau and producer Jason Brennan, in a press release.
For you Flora is currently offered on ICI Tou.tv’s Extra.
