Ye (Kanye West) will have to pay his ex-wife Kim Kardashian $200,000 a month in child support. The two stars, separated since 2021, have just reached an agreement for their divorce.
The most popular ex-couple in the world thus avoids going to court, when a hearing was already scheduled for next month, according to The Guardian.
Ye and Kim Kardashian have joint custody of their children and do not owe each other any support, apart from that which the rapper will have to pay for their four children. They will also separate all expenses for their children’s private security and education.
The two billionaires had signed a marriage contract before their wedding, celebrated in 2014. Kim Kardashian filed for divorce in January 2021.
Their divorce agreement comes shortly after the recent setbacks of Ye, fined for having uttered anti-Semitic remarks, which notably earned him the loss of several partnerships with brands.
