At 80, nothing stops him. While he no longer has anything to prove and enjoys a remarkable career, Michel Drucker continues to accompany the evenings of the French, and more particularly on Sundays, thanks to his famous program Can’t wait for Sunday. A program which also operated a change of size a few months ago since the companion of Dany Saval moved to France 3 after several years of good and loyal service at France 2. His detractors would have preferred him to leave his place, but Michel Drucker does not intend to retire immediately, no offense to some.
The journalist has always put his work first, so much so that he has never really been able to devote himself to family life and become a father. He recognizes it himself, he has always been a “guy who only thought about his job”. However, it is indeed two women who allowed him to turn his life around in the good sense of the term. In 1973, he met Dany Saval, a woman he is madly in love with, still today. She is already the mother of a little girl, Stéfanie, the fruit of her love with Maurice Jarre, when she meets Michel Drucker.
Stéfanie, officially daughter of Michel Drucker?
It is however the latter who raises Stéfanie, in particular because of the absence of her biological father. In fact, a particular relationship was born and allows the journalist to know the role of father, emotionally speaking. It is also her, through her talents as a decorator, who slips her the idea of the red armchair for the show Can’t wait for Sunday.
In the columns of Current wifethe one who almost got “beaten up” by Johnny Hallyday explains that Dany Saval’s daughter does not call him “father”… Yet he assures: “I adopted my daughter”. Stéphanie Jarre, meanwhile, added: “I don’t call him ‘papa’, I call him Mimi”.
