The winter decor is now set with persistent snow for several sectors of the province and colder temperatures across Quebec.
The week begins with the colors of winter, as gray clouds will eclipse the sun for the whole day on Monday, which will be just as cold as the last few days.
The west of the province will experience a real winter storm with accumulations of 5 to 10 centimeters of snow, particularly in Abitibi-Témiscamingue.
In Greater Montreal, the cloudiness in the morning will bring a little snow, perhaps an accumulation of two centimeters in the afternoon, when the mercury will not exceed 1 degree.
The central areas of the province will have better luck with some morning sun, but snow will still be invited in colder temperatures.
Thus, in Quebec, Beauce and Estrie, we expect a few snow showers, after a cloudy morning where the wind chill of minus 19 degrees.
The same scenario is expected for areas of eastern Quebec with clouds in the morning and snow showers in the afternoon and lower temperatures.
The sun will be back on Tuesday for several areas of southern Quebec, especially in Montreal, with a few temporary clouds in places.
