A man was seriously injured after swerving overnight from Friday to Saturday in Saint-Majorique-de-Grantham, in Centre-du-Québec.
The exit from the road, which drove the vehicle into a ditch, occurred around 2:45 a.m. on Lemire Boulevard West, according to Sûreté du Québec spokesperson Catherine Bernard.
The man was transported to a hospital in serious condition leaving fear for his life.
An investigation is still ongoing and a road closure is possible in the next few hours.
Several hypotheses are being studied to determine the causes of the accident and driving with the abilities reduced by alcohol is possible.
