A feminist collective claims Tuesday evening November 15 in a press release sent to France Bleu Pays de Savoie the sexist tags discovered Monday November 14 at the Savoie Mont-Blanc University (USMB), located in Jacob-Bellecombette, a few kilometers south of Chambery.

Several tags containing comments “sexist and violent” had been spray-painted red on campus buildings. The collective says it wanted “to make react” : “Only ten tags, written in large and red on the walls of a university, caused more reaction than all the sexist, hateful, violent and gratuitous comments distilled daily on social networks and the permanent alerts of women known or Nope”, he writes in this press release.

“If these misogynistic, violent and sexist insults shock you on a wall, imagine that today every girl, every woman at any age, for any reason, receives them”he says.

The Savoie Mont-Blanc University (USMB) announced on Tuesday November 15 that it was going to file a complaint for these tags, which were covered up during the day.
