A woman in her twenties was in critical condition late Tuesday afternoon after losing control of her vehicle in Saint-Charles-Borromée, Lanaudière.
The accident occurred around 3:45 p.m. on Route 343, according to initial information from the Sûreté du Québec (SQ).
“For some reason that is unknown, the driver lost control of her vehicle and collided with two other vehicles,” said Laura Hervé, spokesperson for the SQ.
Seriously injured, the driver in her twenties was taken to hospital, where there are fears for her life. The drivers of the other two vehicles sustained less serious injuries but were still taken to hospital.
Collision investigators were called to the scene to understand the circumstances surrounding this event.
