Christine Morency: no filter
Christine Morency indicates it at the beginning of the first episode: she does not understand why she is the subject of a documentary. She even admits that a part of her is embarrassed that a camera follows her everywhere. Fortunately for us, the contagiously laughing comedian quickly dismisses his doubts and opens up with great generosity in front of the lens of Anicée Ouellet (Double occupation), who shows her at home, with her makeup off after a TV appearance, in what she describes as her “very normal life as a single woman, childless, dogless”. The second episode, during which she continues her run-in tour in Quebec, turns out to be more interesting, especially when we observe her polishing a number that deals with grossophobia.

Elton John Live: Farewell From Dodger Stadium
Elton John isn’t our favorite, but we have to admit he was a hit machine for years. That’s why we’ll be watching his last concert in North America, which will be broadcast live from Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles. In front of 50,000 people, the British singer will revisit his repertoire, which includes classics like Rocket Man, Tiny Dancer, Bennie & The Jets, Your Song and Candle in the Wind. We cross our fingers that he sings our guilty pleasure, Something About the Way You Look Tonight. A documentary retracing his long career will be released next year.
Disney+, Sunday, at 11 p.m. (the concert will be offered on demand the next day)
The novelty
Legacy quibbles
Boring, the profession of notary? Not according to this half-documentary, half-fiction series, which presents succession stories that turn sour. Each episode is composed of reconstructions (with actors, such as Annie Charland, Ines Talbi and Ralph Prosper) interspersed with comments and explanations from specialists, including Me Michel Beauchamp, a notary with 33 years of experience. The mixture of genres is of some interest and certainly makes the subject matter less dry. Entitled “The Surprise Heirs”, the first episode gives us the example of a man who dies. Once at the notary, his daughter learns that he leaves 50% of all his assets to a new spouse who comes out of nowhere.

OD Martinique
After being taken off the air due to a controversy that left no one indifferent, the dailyDouble occupation resumes service. After an altogether quiet Sunday episode, we fear that we will be served an end to the season that is more beige than beige. However, there is a difference between conflict and bullying. Shouldn’t forget it. We hope that Lady Pagaille did not fly with Philippe, Isaack and Félix to return to Quebec. Interesting fact: Monday’s episode will include a performance by Jay Scott, excerpt from Copilot with FouKi (or Capitol with Funky, as Ginette Reno would say) was crowned song of the year at the ADISQ gala.
