(Hershey) Quebecers Hendrix Lappierre and Zach Fucale came out on top in a duel against the only formation of the Belle Province of the American Hockey League.

Lappierre had a goal and an assist, Fucale stopped 25 shots and the Hershey Bears beat the Laval Rocket 4-1 on Sunday.
Lappierre, who is playing his first season in the AHL after being selected in the first round of the 2020 auction by the Washington Capitals, reached the 10-point plateau in his 12e match.
Fucale, a former second-round pick by the Montreal Canadiens in 2013, improved to 6-2-0. This season, he has a 2.02 goals-against average and a 91.7% save percentage.
Bobby Nardella, Sam Anas and Henrik Rybinski also hit the mark for the Bears (8-2-2). Mason Morelli and Gabriel Carlsson had two assists.
Anthony Richard provided the response for the Rocket as Kevin Poulin made 23 saves. The Laval team’s leading scorer scored his ninth goal of the season and was helped by Tory Dello.
The Rocket (3-8-3) have lost ground for the sixth time in their last seven games.
Jean-François Houle’s squad will begin a four-game streak at Place Bell on Wednesday when they host the Abbotsford Canucks.
