On Thursday, November 10, a knife attack took place in Brussels, Belgium. Anti-terrorism justice was seized after the death of a police officer.

Thursday, November 10, a policeman was killed and another was injured near Brussels North Station after being attacked with a knife. The incident took place around 7 p.m. Witnesses to the attack who were nearby are shocked. The assailant shouted “Allahu Akbar” as he attacked two police officers while armed with a knife. The perpetrator was arrested by the police after being shot.

The suspect, aged 32, was already known to the police. For the moment, the terrorist track is favored by the investigators. “The suspect, Yassine M, is of Belgian nationality. (…) He was known to justice for common law offenses which led to his being detained between 2013 and 2019″reveals Eric Van Duyse, spokesman for the Belgian federal prosecutor’s office. After his hospitalization, the suspect will be questioned by a judge.
