This Tuesday, November 8, 2022, Marco Mouly was invited on the set of “Touche pas à mon poste” to discuss the conditions of detention in prisons in France. Nicknamed the “king of the scam”, Marco Mouly, whose real name is Mardoché Mouly, is part of the band of crooks who set up the famous VAT fraud, an international scam linked to the carbon tax which allowed to embezzle nearly 300 million euros.
Released from prison after serving his sentence, the 56-year-old father now promotes his book entitled “La Cavale” published by Harpercollins.
Coming to talk about life in prison, Marco Mouly boasted, live on C8, of having kept some of the money embezzled a few years ago: “I have the money! The money I hid but I made it by working!”. What to react Gilles Verdez who retorted: “Where did you hide it? You hid it in Morocco, why don’t you say so? You hid hundreds of millions in Morocco, millions that come from the carbon tax”.
Marco Mouly professionally linked to TPMP columnists?
Following these revelations, Marco Mouly made other surprising remarks about his links with the columnists of TPMP. “He came to see me at the cafe, he told me Marco I do what you want for a million!” he launched, pointing to Benjamin Castaldi. “And it’s not just you, there’s also the other…” he continued.
“Jean Michel-Maire, who does he work for now? He works for me!” Faced with the amazement of the columnists, Marco Mouly explained himself: “It’s true! Ask him how much he earns? Frankly, he doesn’t want to come here anymore!” he proudly launched. Cyril Hanouna then tried to find out more: “Jean-Michel Maire works for you?”. And Marco Mouly replied: “Yes, he does my shopping! I tell him go get me that, go get me an envelope over there… He doesn’t stand out, it’s Jean-Michel Maire, no one will suspect him. !” did he declare.
