Anderson, who has been shut out in his last three outings, has three goals and five points in 12 games this season.

Tkachuk too

Anderson isn’t the only player who might be forced to watch a few games from the stands. Matthew Tkachuk of the Florida Panthers could also be suspended for a high stick at the expense of Los Angeles Kings goaltender Jonathan Quick.

The incident, which also occurred in the third period, was the cause of the breaststroke-comrade at the end of the game. The former Calgary Flames appeared to insert the end of his stick into an opening in Quick’s face shield. The latter also reacted strongly when the game was stopped.

Tkachuk was the only penalized player, adding 15 minutes to his counter. The Kings ultimately won 5-4.
