From Monday 7 November, it will now be possible to get vaccinated in pharmacies. This possibility will concern all compulsory vaccines.
Previously, when people wanted to get vaccinated, they had to go to their doctor. This is no longer the case since it is now possible to do so in pharmacies from Monday, November 7. This decision is acclaimed by patients. “It’s a very good idea. If we can avoid going to the doctor, that’s fine”reacts a woman. This new measure extends to all persons over the age of 16 and to all compulsory vaccines.
If this initiative pleases customers, it is also the case for pharmacists. “We were able to vaccinate for Covid and the flu, so why not for the rest of the vaccines”testifies Laurent Halwani, manager of the Océane pharmacy. Pharmacists are not afraid of these vaccinations since they are used to Covid. “The upheaval, it took place especially for the Covid vaccination where we had a large influx very quickly”describes Jean-Charles Bettan, pharmacist. Physicians are also happy to be supplemented by pharmacists.
