With the FIFA World Cup in Qatar nearly two weeks away, Canadian star soccer player Alphonso Davies is struggling with an injury.
The full-back left the Bayern Munich game on Saturday morning due to a tendon injury in his right leg, according to Sportsnet.
At the 62e minute he was chasing a Herta Berlin player when he suddenly held his tendon before asking for a substitute two minutes later. In his absence, Bayern Munich won 3-2. They still have two games to play before the World Cup.
Canada’s first game will take place on November 23 against Belgium.
