The city of Kherson in southern Ukraine, still occupied by the Russian army, was “without electricity or water” on Sunday, following a Ukrainian strike, according to the Russian occupation authorities in the region. “Three concrete pylons carrying power lines were damaged on the Berislav-Kakhovka axis”they said on Telegram.

This is the first known power and water cut in Kherson. According to a representative of the region’s emergency services, quoted by Russian news agencies, “more than 10 localities in the region” are equally “without current”.

The hydroelectric dam from Kakhovka “damaged”
