The home for drug addicts in Nice will not see the light of day

A home for drug addicts, opposite a kindergarten, was due to open by the end of autumn at 6 boulevard Tzaréwitch in Nice. Residents of the Parc Impérial district have stepped up to denounce the creation of this local, fearing to find syringes on the sidewalk. More than 150 residents mobilized this Friday afternoon.

For its part, the town hall of Nice, headwind against the creation of this premises, finally won. This home will not see the light of day in the neighborhood. The actors carrying out this project, the Regional Health Agency and the Ministry of Health, are now considering another sitemore appropriate, to accommodate these fragile people.
