Moldovan right prop Cristian Ojovan extends contract until 2026

In this period of transfers in the world of rugby, ASM-Clermont has announced the extension of the contract of its right pillar Christian Ojovan for the next three seasons. Arrived from Aurillac in 2020, the Moldovan has the quality of Jiff (player from French training), a label so precious for rugby clubs.

The 25-year-old player was in high demand by the other clubs in the Top 14. The pillar of 1m 83 for 120 kg wishes to register for the long term in Auvergne, where he has already played 58 games since his arrival.

Currently injured (slight knee sprain), the pillar will not play this weekend against Bayonne and will be available again after the international break in November.

As a reminder, ASM welcomes Bayonne this Saturday at 5 p.m. to complete the first block of matches of this Top 14 season.
A meeting to follow live and in full on France Bleu Pays d’Auvergne from the Michelin stadium with on-site commentary by Julien Oury and his consultant Matthew Croppi.
