Orsi Ribelli celebrates 20 years of fervor for AC Ajaccio

The party will be big this weekend in Ajaccio for the 20th anniversary of Orsi Ribelli. Its 500 members, supporters of the ACA organize, this Friday, an exhibition at the Ajaccio Tourist Office, followed by a great evening concert on the Place Foch. The party continues this Saturday, November 5, on the occasion of the reception of Strasbourg in Timizzolu on behalf of the 14th day of Ligue 1.

“It’s my heart club, it’s visceral”smiles Eric Betti, who has supported red and white for nearly 40 years, proud to present his collection: “I have about 400 shirts, all years combined; all match photos from 65 to the present day; programs, newspaper articles, etc.” Beside him, Bernard remembers the group that succeeded the Orsi: “We got together to create I Guerrieri in 1997”.

The fan club lasted for five years, until the creation of Orsi Ribelli in 2002. “The young people create a great atmosphere. They do a good job”concludes, proud, Bernard.

Di Grazia and the ACA, from father to son

At work in his marble factory, Daniel Di Grazia also exhibits his passion for the ACA in his office. Ashtray, limited edition plate, jersey and souvenir photos: not a wall is missing a red and white accessory. But his greatest pride is the presence of his name on the climb jersey, last season.

“He will be in my memory for life. Marbrerie Di Grazia on the jersey the year of accession, it is invaluable”he says moved as he succeeds his father both at work and at AC Ajaccio.

The succession of young people

For Daniel, Eric and Bernard, the discourse on the Orsi Ribelli is identical: “We are proud that the young people have taken over. Proud of their work and the atmosphere they bring to Timizzolu as outside”. Succession today ensured by 500 members at Orsi Ribelli who, too, pass on the passion to their children.

Active member of the Orsi, Sébastien Masala joined it from its creation. It was with his son that he lived his best memory of supporting: the game of accession to Ligue 1, against Toulouse. A son only 9 years old but already much more bitten than his father: “His passion almost exceeds mine! He doesn’t want to miss any game.”smiles the father of the family.
