Since last school year, Malika Menard has hosted the M-RadioAwakening, between 6 a.m. and 10 a.m. with Vincent Cerutti! And the former Miss France takes her role very seriously. So much so that she had to go out of her way to be on time for work, this November 2, after a plane problem! This is what she confided live this Wednesday morning to the husband of Hapsatou Sy.
Malika Menard drove all night to Paris
She, who was far from Paris for the long weekend of November 1, took the bridge, and explains that it was a friend who surprised her. He also took care of reserving a return flight for her no later than Tuesday evening, so that she could be in Paris on Wednesday morning. But now, due to an incident on an EasyJet flight, this moment of relaxation turned into a nightmare. Malika Menard indeed says: “Everything was fine at 8 p.m….” when suddenly she learns the bad news. She will not board the flight which is hers.
“There are 7 of us who couldn’t get on the plane, there are people who cried a little all the same. Because everyone is working, they wanted to take full advantage of this big weekend, and that’s it” she says. Malika Menard and her friend are trying to find a solution, she says: “Well first we looked in the airport, we went to another counter, because we saw that there was another Air Italia flight. They turned us down when they had time. In short, they didn’t really want“.

And finally, it’s not the earth that solved the problem, and not in the air! Diane Leyre’s colleague ensures: “And suddenly, we went down to the car rental service. Well, it’s quite a journey because you have to fill out all the papers, pick up the car, etc… And then we left to do 1000 km yeah”.
Vincent Cerutti congratulates his guardian angel
They rode from “9:30 p.m. and 5 a.m.“, she explains, and then, arriving in Lyon, she took a train at 5:30 a.m. “to arrive at 7:50 here” at the M Radio studio (she missed the slot from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m.). Vincent Cerutti congratulated the “guys” who undertook to bring his colleague back safely, and told her “he is very strong, you are a champion, you have assured”. And Malika Menard to conclude: “Well, he’s still on the road, poor thing…”
