Her name is Christelle Vandeputte, she is a florist in Beaumont du Périgord. His passion is running. However, she does not belong to any club. She trains regularly with her husband. She already has several marathons to her credit, including that of Paris. Participating in the New York Marathon is a dream come true.
In flight for the New York Marathon
It’s an incredible opportunity for Christelle to take part in this New York marathon. Although there are 50,000 to set off at the start of the mythical event, places are difficult to obtain. We can go through associations but the process is complicated and the chances slim. Christelle Vandeputte registered directly on the organizers’ website with a hope of a 15% chance of being drawn. This chance, she had it! From where her plane which she takes this Tuesday, for New York. As soon as she got the good news, Christelle redoubled her efforts and training sessions. She regularly runs a good ten kilometers each time.
A marathon far from easy
Several bridges are to be crossed and some beautiful hills, which makes this New York marathon a demanding event. The course is therefore far from being flat. Christelle has not set herself a sporting goal. She still hopes to cross the finish line located near Central Park. She refers to her performance in the Paris marathon.
