A fire is underway this Tuesday morning in Gond-Pontouvre just next to Angoulême at La Sirmet, site specializing in the treatment of iron and metal waste. You may see this big cloud of black smoke. Many firefighters are on site. It is not the first time. In December 2021, around sixty firefighters responded to a fire in industrial zone number 3, mainly containing metal waste and household appliances.
