Olympique d’Alès-en-Cévennes will change coaches. It was in tune with the times, since the elimination of the Gard club this weekend in the seventh round of the French Football Cup. The Alésiens, who evolve in National 2), are fell on the lawn of Montauban (Regional 2), on penalties (2-2 at the end of regulation time). Stéphane Saurat submitted his resignation on Monday. The president of the OAC Didier Bilange accepted it.
“Following our elimination in the Coupe de France and in view of the difficulties encountered in the National 2 championship, the management received this morning Stéphane Sauratconfirms the club in a press release. At the end of the interview, Stéphane Saurat presented his resignation as coach of the “Une” team, resignation which was accepted.”
Christophe Bosne Vialet, assistant coach, will take over the interim, alongside Arnaud Grosselin, the group’s physical trainer. “Our technical staff is now working on a reorganization of the coaching staff in order to deal quickly and calmly with the next deadlines in the championship.“
In National 2, the OAC is currently thirteenth in its group, with seven points (already four defeats in seven league games).
