this loyal listener discovered the Dordogne by listening to the radio

The voices of France Bleu Périgord accompany him from morning to night. In her house in Limeyrat, Anna Vasseur very rarely turns off the radio. Thirty years ago, she decided to leave Pas-de-Calais and settle in Dordogne with her husband.

As soon as she arrived, she remembers being “fallen by chance” on our airwaves. “Since then, I have remained faithful, I only listen to France Bleu”assures the one who turns on her post at 6:30 a.m. for breakfast and never leaves it all day.

Listening to good plans

After moving in, the two spouses set off to discover the Périgord heritage. As soon as they heard an interesting place on the radio, they went there. “We made a lot of visits at the beginning, especially castles like those of Castelnaud, Milandes or Losse. All this through France Bleu”she says.

On her favorite radio station, Anna appreciates the diversity of programs: “We have the music, the news, the games, so we know everything”. But what she loves above all is the show “Side Flavors” on cooking, his passion. She has not forgotten the recipe for Maroilles du Nord pies but has also learned, thanks to France Bleu, how to cook truffles, confits or Sarladaise potatoes.

get caught up in the game

Anna Vasseur regularly participates in show games, and she wins! “I had the opportunity to win meals in good restaurants with great chefs, it was great!”, she confides. The one who never played on the radio when she lived in Pas-de-Calais, smiles: “I got caught up in the game, quite simply“.

Very happy since her arrival, she even convinced friends to join them in Périgord. I’m even going to convert them to the radio!”, she exclaims.
