For more than fifteen years at the head of the 20H du weekend on France 2, Laurent Delahousse is making his way without making too many waves. Serious, adored by the public for his qualities as a journalist as much as for his rather advantageous physique and his messy hair, the 53-year-old presenter drives up the audience and even recently overtook his competitors from TF1 during a day historical.
But, as he confided this weekend in an interview with World, no question for his children to spend their weekend watching him in front of their TV ! At the head of a tribemade up of six children, aged two and a half to 24“, including Liv-Helen and Sacha (17 and 14 years old), born of his past union with Florence Kieffer, but also Swann and Lino (6 and 2 and a half years old), fruit of his love for actress Alice Taglioni (she -even mother of Charlie, 13, fruit of his love for the deceased Jocelyn Quivrin), the actor is aware of this, his teenagers consume information differently.
“Do they watch the 8 p.m. news? Nope. The older one looks at it in sections, on her phone“, he reveals, specifying that his children are still open to the news. Even if for him, young people should be made aware of information very young. “That national education does not take two hours a week to tell college students what is behind the image, behind the words, it is absolutely unconscious! Today, some kids aged 15-16 still wonder if the Earth is round.“, he laments.
Fortunately for him, this is not the case for his close-knit clan, whom he nevertheless has difficulty seeing during the year: a real workaholic, he finds it difficult to stop to take a vacation with their children. Even if he knows that it is an obligatory moment: “When you haven’t had a weekend for fifteen years, you have no right to miss your vacation!“, he reveals with a laugh, he who now spends his holidays in his “little paradiseof Cap-Ferret.
