In a day in France, the news of 20 Hours returns, Sunday, October 23, on a formidable discovery of a bracelet dating from the Second World War and dwells on a particularly mild autumn.

An exceptional discovery, a bracelet bearing the nickname “Bull” and the initials of Robert Lee Wolverton, American hero of the Second World War. It was found by a former paratrooper: “A personal bracelet from someone who jumped in Normandy for June 6, we will only find one.” To pay homage to him, it is exhibited at the Landing Museum.

In the east of France in Strasbourg (Bas-Rhin), the mercury exceeded 20 degrees. If the inhabitants take advantage of it, they remain worried about this abnormal weather: “A few years ago, at that time, we weren’t outside.” Another climatic whim, in Haute-Ariège, this time, where torrential rains fell on the region. Not enough to scare away Asian hornets that continue to attack bees, to the chagrin of beekeepers.
